Makuta is the vendor we have to worry about the least. When we have multiple projects due from various vendors, I tell my staff not to worry about the Makuta parts because they will come through, be on time, and have correct parts.

Makuta utilizes the proprietary Sansyu mold shuttling system for multi material micro injection molding. This system was created solely by Sansyu and is in use only within the Sansyu Group of companies. This system is designed specifically for Sumitomo 15 and 30 ton machines. It allows for two different grades of material and/or two different colors to be used with in the same cycle. Many times secondary processes can be eliminated through the use of this system.
This system inherently allows for reduced tooling cost. Often times parts can be converted from an insert molded piece to a double shot micro molded piece through this system.
